With ADHD Awareness Month and World Mental Health Day as the backdrop, LAUDACE collaborated with Google to shine a light on neurodiversity through a bold, intersectional lens.

OUR APPROACH?

We brought together Google’s Disability Alliance, Black ERG, and leaders in neurodiversity advocacy for a hybrid session under Google Netherlands.

The session tapped into the power of storytelling, helping participants see that mental health and neurodiversity are everyone’s issues.

THE RESULTS

The session was a hit, with participants praising the content as “life-changing” and “eye-opening”. Feedback from Google’s leadership team and people operations teams emphasized the impact of understanding mental health through an intersectional perspective.

The Neurodiversity Advocacy Lead also supported in our Flip the Neurotive campaign, which received an enthusiastic response within Google. This collaboration set the stage for continued efforts to foster an inclusive culture that supports neurodivergent employees and amplifies mental health awareness.

LESSONS LEARNED

By framing allyship and inclusion as a shared responsibility, we turned skeptics into allies and showed that embracing neuroinclusion can lead to a more innovative and resilient workplace.
